AVM can offer further training for those members of staff who are fully & substantially experienced in all aspects of Sterile Services or Flexible Endoscope reprocessing who having reached Team Leader level wish to develop their role further before moving forward into junior management roles.

Introduction to Decontamination
The Introduction to Decontamination Training Course is a 3-day course suitable for staff that need an overview knowledge about the decontamination of reusable medical devices using machines including ultrasonic cleaners, washer disinfectors, sterilisers and endoscope washer disinfectors.
Washer Disinfectors
Specialist Washer Disinfectors courses training courses are conducted by our expert authorising engineers together with specialist decontamination personnel, accredited trainers and A1/A2 assessors.

Authorised Person (Decontamination)
The Authorised Person (Decontamination) training is a 4-day course to teach staff the knowledge and skills they need to perform day-to-day tasks and duties to effectively manage aspects of decontamination.
It is suitable for staff with previous experience of decontamination and those who wish to work toward becoming an Authorised Person (Decontamination).
