Authorising Engineers (Decontamination)
IHEEM holds a register of authorising engineers including those in the field of decontamination. AVM employs and contracts a number of authorising engineers and they will be present on this register.
Authorising Engineers (AEs) are independent engineers (appropriately qualified/experienced individuals) who are authorised to take responsibility for the management of safety guidance recommended by the Department of Health.
In terms of decontamination, authorising engineers are required to sign off quarterly and annual audits of decontamination equipment such as Quarterly and annual audits on equipment such as disinfectors, sterilisers and drying cabinets.

Experts in our field since 1989, AVM Services are on hand for all aspects of decontamination. Please contact us for expert advice and specialist knowledge.
