Nick has worked for, with and collaborated on projects for a range of NHS England Trusts including the Royal Free, Royal London, Moorefields Eye Hospital, and Leads Teaching Hospital Trust. Nick's experience and expertise includes NHS Trust HR policies and Health Technical Memoranda including HTM 01-01, HTM 01-06, HTM01- 05 and associated standards.
Stephen was appointed as the Client Sales & Engagement Manager in 2019. Stephen has worked in the infection control/validation sector for circa-20 years and has been employed by various manufacturers, in various roles. Most notably, Stephen was Southern Area Service Manager for Getinge UK which is part of the Getinge Group, the largest infection control equipment manufacturer globally.
Elaine has worked for AVM Services since its conception in January 1991 and was one of the original five members. As AVM Services grew, and the number of staff increased, Elaine developed into a business growth role and is now Customer Accounts Manager, supporting the Client Sales Engagement Manager as AVM continues to expand and develop.
Elaine has taken advantage of AVM training courses and is a qualified CP(D), AP(D) and quality auditor which enables her to confidently engage with potential clients and to address concerns and quality issues with existing clients.
Alfred joined AVM Services in December 2017, coming in as a Bank Administrator from Addenbrookes Hospital. After gaining valuable experience in the Authorising Engineering Team for a couple of years, Alfred was reassigned to the Training Team and is now Training Delivery Coordinator. Prior to AVM Services, Alfred was Head of Admin and HR at the Gambia National Petroleum Company and also lectured diploma courses at the University of The Gambia.
Ian has decades of experience (since 1975) within the decontamination sector and held Sterile Services Manager and Compliance Manager roles for several years. In 2003, Ian became the Trust Decontamination Advisor at Guys’ & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and held this position for seven years. Following several years at Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust as their Head of Decontamination, Ian became Associate Decontamination Consultant for AVM Services in 2014.
Luke has worked in the healthcare sector for nearly ten years. Having worked initially for ArjoHuntleigh, Luke moved to Getinge Group and progressed onto becoming a service engineer in decontamination and was a key member of the servicing, validations and breakdown team. In 2017, Luke made the move to AVM services in order to progress within decontamination and validation as a decontamination engineer.
Keith has over 30 years working in the decontamination sector and joined AVM in 2010 after successful spells at major manufacturers Getinge and MMM Medical Equipment. Keith has many years experience in servicing, validation and commissioning of autoclaves and washer disinfectors and has spanned both public and private sectors, including Life Sciences.
Keith now heads up the AVM Training Department, providing Operator and User training on decontamination equipment for SSD staff. Training is often carried out at the clients premises, however, some courses such as Competent Person training can be undertaken ato our purpose built training centre at MMM Medical Equipment where we can cater for Autoclave, washer disinfector and endoscope washer disinfector training.
Tracey has been an AE(D) with AVM Services since 2002 and provides advice and guidance on decontamination requirements (HTM 00, HTM 01-01, HTM 01-06) to the NHS and private healthcare organisations. Prior to becoming an authorising engineer, Tracey's career included roles as Sterile Services Manager and Consultant at a number of hospitals as well as Trust-wide responsibility for sterilisation/disinfection.

Thomas joined AVM Services in June 2020 and helps to manage the AE(D) contracts, and coordinate the Authorising Engineers for our decontamination services. Prior to joining AVM, Thomas worked in the pharmaceutical industry within Pharmacovigilance Drug Safety and Regulatory Affairs.

Most notably, Stephen was Southern Area Service Manager for Getinge UK which is part of the Getinge Group, the largest infection control equipment manufacturer globally.
Elaine has worked for AVM Services since its conception in January 1991 and was one of the original five members. As AVM Services grew, and the number of staff increased, Elaine developed into a business growth role and is now Customer Accounts Manager, supporting the Client Sales Engagement Manager as AVM continues to expand and develop.
Elaine has taken advantage of AVM training courses and is a qualified CP(D), AP(D) and quality auditor which enables her to confidently engage with potential clients and to address concerns and quality issues with existing clients.
Alfred joined AVM Services in December 2017, coming in as a Bank Administrator from Addenbrookes Hospital. After gaining valuable experience in the Authorising Engineering Team for a couple of years, Alfred was reassigned to the Training Team and is now Training Delivery Coordinator. Prior to AVM Services, Alfred was Head of Admin and HR at the Gambia National Petroleum Company and also lectured diploma courses at the University of The Gambia.
Ian has decades of experience (since 1975) within the decontamination sector and held Sterile Services Manager and Compliance Manager roles for several years. In 2003, Ian became the Trust Decontamination Advisor at Guys’ & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and held this position for seven years. Following several years at Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust as their Head of Decontamination, Ian became Associate Decontamination Consultant for AVM Services in 2014.
Luke has worked in the healthcare sector for nearly ten years. Having worked initially for ArjoHuntleigh, Luke moved to Getinge Group and progressed onto becoming a service engineer in decontamination and was a key member of the servicing, validations and breakdown team. In 2017, Luke made the move to AVM services in order to progress within decontamination and validation as a decontamination engineer.
Keith has over 30 years working in the decontamination sector and joined AVM in 2010 after successful spells at major manufacturers Getinge and MMM Medical Equipment. Keith has many years experience in servicing, validation and commissioning of autoclaves and washer disinfectors and has spanned both public and private sectors, including Life Sciences.
Keith now heads up the AVM Training Department, providing Operator and User training on decontamination equipment for SSD staff. Training is often carried out at the clients premises, however, some courses such as Competent Person training can be undertaken ato our purpose built training centre at MMM Medical Equipment where we can cater for Autoclave, washer disinfector and endoscope washer disinfector training.
Tracey has been an AE(D) with AVM Services since 2002 and provides advice and guidance on decontamination requirements (HTM 00, HTM 01-01, HTM 01-06) to the NHS and private healthcare organisations. Prior to becoming an authorising engineer, Tracey's career included roles as Sterile Services Manager and Consultant at a number of hospitals as well as Trust-wide responsibility for sterilisation/disinfection.
